    Bahrain on 1st June 2020 - Bin Hindi Motors, the exclusive distributor of KIA MOTORS in Bahrain recently unveiled the enhanced New 2020 Niro Hybrid in the Kingdom.

    From every angle, the Niro grabs the eye and sets an intriguing new design benchmark for hybrid vehicles. It's stylish around town. It's right at home out in the country. And it looks smart everywhere in between.

    The Niro hybrid is the best choice for the buyers who search for an affordable hybrid car. It offers excellent fuel economy with very few compromises, and it's also pretty affordable. Along with improving fuel economy ratings and making them better for the environment. It's also extremely efficient, managing 52 mpg in the city in its hybrid variant.

    The Niro employs a parallel hybrid system that switches between gasoline and electric power, or uses a combination of both, and charges the battery whenever it can. The system is seamless and responsive while achieving class-leading efficiency. CO2 emissions are inspiringly low at 91g/km.

    Inside, the new Niro display is more streamlined, incorporating a re-styled 7-inch instrument cluster with improved drive mode graphics and 8-inch standard touchscreen display, or optional navigation with a 10.25-inch screen and Harman/Kardon premium audio system, all with the easy-to-use interface Kia is famous for. Optional paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience and active regenerative braking control, optional electronic parking brake, and optional mood lighting with six different colors wrap up the interior mods.

    Powertrain and exterior and interior dimensions and capacities are unchanged from the previous model. Enhancing the Niro’s full suite of available Kia Drive Wise Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are newly added Lane Following & Lane Keeping Assist and High Beam Assist.

    NEW KIA SORENTO IS NAMED ‘ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CAR OF THE YEAR 2020’



    * Fourth generation of Kia’s flagship SUV wins award in the ‘Design’ category of the renowned ‘Auto Bild Allrad’ contest

    Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June, 2020 — Kia’s new Sorento has been named the ‘All-Wheel Drive Car of the Year 2020’ in the Auto Bild Allrad contest. The fourth generation Sorento - which just recently celebrated its world premiere via Facebook livestream in March - is due on-sale in select MEA markets in the third quarter of 2020.

    The renowned contest, held by Auto Bild Allrad, Europe's best-selling four-wheel drive magazine, saw Kia’s flagship receive the award in the ‘Design’ category. This is the third consecutive award for Kia from Auto Bild Allrad – readers of trade magazine voted for the Kia Stinger sports sedan as the import winner in the ‘All-wheel drive cars over 40,000 euros’ category in 2018 and 2019. The results of the competition were published in the 7/2020 issue of Auto Bild Allrad. “As a thoroughly modern SUV, the impressive features and dynamic and elegant design of the Sorento has won over car enthusiasts across the world. The fourth-generation Sorento is also the first Kia constructed in the manufacturer’s new mid-range SUV platform, enabling its new proportions and space-efficient integration of electrified powertrains.

    It offers comfortable seating for up to seven people and one of the largest luggage compartments in its segment (up to 910 litres, depending on the model and engine). Comfort features include Nappa leather upholstery and a BOSE® surround sound system. The cockpit features a fully digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display and a 10.25-inch navigation system. The Sorento’s wide range of innovative driver assistance systems includes Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control and Highway Driving Assist. A new Remote Smart Parking Assist feature allows the SUV to be remotely controlled with a key fob and driven out of a parking space automatically. An important feature for off-road trips is the SUV’s new ‘Terrain Mode’ system, which helps it achieve better traction on mud, sand, and even snow.

    Breast Cancer Awareness initiative at KIA & EPCC



    Bahrain on 20th Oct. 2020 - In support of the “Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness initiative”, Kia Motors Bahrain and Enaya Professional Car Care (EPCC) joined with LBCC London Breast Care Centre, in association with Cafeina Marketing Agency to initiate Brest Cancer Awareness campaign in Bahrain.

    The aim is to create an awareness of the disease that has taken the lives of many women globally. As part of the campaign, KIA Stinger has been wrapped with a very special Baby Pink Color with a QR code sticker on the car, so people can scan to redirect them to a KIA test drive form.

    Customers who will test drive any KIA model, will get a voucher provided by LBCC London Breast Care Centre for FREE screening during the month of October 20. KIA Stinger will be driven 1st by Dr. Sara Al Reefy, Consultant General, Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon, LBCC followed by famous female bloggers, social media influencers, models, actress & actors. The car will also be taken by Cafeina Agency to famous places around Bahrain for photo shoots to get more exposure and create awareness on this campaign.

    This Breast Cancer Awareness initiative comes as part of KIA MOTORS & EPCC corporate social responsibilities.
